PIXAR MOVIES REVIEW

PIXAR MOVIES REVIEW

Pixar movies from the outside apear to be directed for younger viewers, but i can guarantee you they are perfect for any age. They are beautiful and whimsical and have the most interesting of plots. Do not disregard these films in anyway, they are worth watching even for the self claimed sophisticated.

-Toy Story(1995)

This is the first movie ever done by the Pixar crew, and despite being the oldest it is timeless. The visuals are still today stimulating and the dialogue remains fun for the whole family. The voices seem to cast perfectly, and the score music is very fitting...No bads about this movie. Absolutely love it!

-A Bug's Life(1998)

This is the second feature film by Pixar, needless to say it was enthralling. I enjoyed every character and every scene. The personalitys of these characters are amazing as well with all Pixar movies. I came out full but not overfed. Another film from the Pixar team that won't be forgotten.

-Toy Story 2(1999)

I am torn with this film.It exceeds the first TS in visual quality, but storyline I'm not so sure. The past storyline remained lighthearted and fun, this one is fun but can be jumpy and confusing for a younger audience.I don't enjoy the voices as much, obviously i am referring to the new toys. Though it has those flaws it is an exceptional piece to the Pixar library. This is the original Pixar series and will forever be amazing,I can't wait for Toy Story 3, which has said to be released in 2010.

-Finding Nemo(2003)

I had a lot of fun with this one. I found it had beautiful visuals and the characters and voices were beyond perfect. The storyline remains interesting despite seeming recurring. This is arguably one of the most popular of the Pixar movies, and has every right to be. There was a lot of hype for this movie which made me skeptical but i was very impressed and loved it. It is for the whole family and is one to go see twice.

-The Incredibles(2004)

I went into this movie reluctantly, i gave it no hope and was sure it was going to be a flop...And i came out extremely surprised and in love. That's what i love about these kind of movies, they can knock you off your feet and your predictions. Some movies people give no hope and the film never even has a chance. This kind of movie can break through that and surprise all. Very entertaining and original, one of my favorite pixars.

-Cars(2006)

I was surprised a this movie, the advertising and trailers didn't do this movie justice. Within the first twenty minutes i felt already bored of the whole car racing,at that time i thought the entire movie was around that. I was wrong. The movie jumped into a plot i didn't expect, but i ended up really liking it.

-Ratatouille(2007)

This one i had my doubts about, and ended up once again completely wrong. I loved most of the characters and the voices were fairly acceptable. I loved the human animation in this one, seeing as in most Pixar flicks it focuses on the animals, cars, toys, etc. Great addition and wish it could have gotten more viewers while in the box office.

-Wall-e(2008)

I fell in love with wall-e within the first thirty minutes. The visuals are exceptional. They can compete with those of finding nemo.A lovely story and maybe for an older crowd. Especially with the deeper meaning behind this flick. Loved every character.Though, my one bad thing is, i didn't like the real human acting. I would have preferred the computer animated person over bringing in an actor. Great Movie.
